I grew up near Canterbury in England and I'm now living on the West coast, USA. You could describe me as one time chef, anytime traveler, and forever curious!
Good food is something I am passionate about. Simply put.. I love sampling a new dish, trying an unexpected flavor combination, exploring a new cookbook, savoring a delicious sauce... and baking , cooking , decorating and growing food, traveling to find it, and of course...tasting every delicious savory, sweet, tart, spicy indulgent mouthful!!!
My background includes culinary school, cooking for titled people and millionaires and making sure my own family enjoyed a variety of good, wholesome - and sometimes adventurous, food. I believe in fresh food, made from scratch where possible and I love the satisfaction or the rich flavors of locally grown, seasonal produce .
